Virgo Eclipse Astro report

I like to describe eclipse periods as a Yahtzee game. The dice aka the energy, are in
the cup, being shaken up by the current energy transits.
Here we are, in the middle of Yahtzee season, a transit that happens every six months.
Eclipses are activated through the astrological signs, each sign mirroring its opposite
sign on the astrological wheel. These activations shift every 18 to 24 months
(about 2 years). We began a new nodal shift back in December of 2024; however, this is our first eclipse activation in these new signs. Our last eclipse back in April had to close out Aries and Libra activations so we can open new energy.
Without further ado, I would like to welcome you to our current reality. One of where we
went from focusing on “I and we” to “I dream and I analyze.”
Something is telling us that we know that this eclipse shuffle will be quite
impactful. If your body feels like white noise from a static television screen, you
are not alone.
This new moon in Virgo, resting up against the Autumn equinox that will take effect the
next day; will feel more like full moon energy than new moon energy. New moons tend
to be more restful with insight of new beginnings while the full moon is represented
by the “werewolves” coming out at night.
Howl at the moon should you feel inclined, however Virgo eclipsing is asking you
to release the control of how the actual practice of howling at the moon will take
place. And focus more of just going outside and howling at the moon.
During the nodal activation of Pisces and Virgo we have had most of the personal
planets, the planets that take more time to move from sign to sign; make their ascent
into a new sign. One of the more notable shifts during this eclipse period has been the
long transition of Saturn moving into Aries only to dip back into Pisces one last time.
How fitting that the planet of responsibility and structure would dip back into such a
dreamy and imaginative sign such as Pisces, ruled by Pluto and representing endings;
just days before we had our first eclipse in the full moon of Pisces.
Here we go, diving deep, once last time into the energy of the past 2 ½ years. This
activation made the Pisces eclipse a little deeper, a little more questionable and
hopefully brought some breakthroughs and realizations. Any endings that have been
happening around this time are fated.... “Let it go.”
Now cue Virgo. Normally I would say “this new moon is a perfect time to start a new
fitness routine!” But I suggest this instead. Eat light, both Pisces and Virgo have GI
issues, focus on gut health. Eat kimchi – so the gut-brain rigidness of Virgo will not
wreak habit on your bowels. Ground, by doing some long and slow heated yoga. Or
dance barefoot, to really have a good time. Allow yourself to detox through this
moment, drinking warm glasses of water first thing in the morning. Use some lemon and sea salt to start the detox process. And if you can, withhold from the caffeine and other substances that can take the analytical and complex mind of Virgo into a tailspin.
We are purging the old so we can bring on the new. Virgo wants us to release the control
within our careers, our relationships, how we are with others and allow the newness in.
Literally, just trust the process. You do not need to know everything at this time, just
know that it is happening because it needs to.
Should you find yourself overwhelmed and controlling during this time get in control of
the mess within your house aka your body, your home environment, and your routines.
Virgo likes that.
Take a moment this weekend to ground and focus on what is leaving now. Getting to a park, to the desert or even a body of water, can do wonders for the busy Virgo mind. Things will feel a little less intense coming into the end of next week. Use the earth to ground and just let things be as they may.
